THQ Hospital Jatoi Upgraded Under Rs 95m Scheme

MUZAFFARGARH, (Muzaffargarh.City – 16th May, 2017 ) : Tahsil Headquarters Hospital (THQ) Jatoi has recently been upgraded with additional facilities under a Rs 95 million scheme and the facility has started benefiting the populations of tahsil Jatoi and Tahsil Alipur.

Official sources said that PML-N MPA Sardar Khan Muhammad Khan Jatoi, after getting a briefing from the then MS THQ hospital Dr. Saleem Khan Leghari, had sought funding for the hospital’s upgradation.

And, Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif immediately released Rs 95 million for the additional facilities and expansion of the hospital to facilitate the poor people of the area.

Former MS Saleem Leghari said that a sum of Rs 12.9 million was spent on acquiring land measuring 40 Kanal and 16 Marla for expansion of the hospital and this area was utilized for establishment of family planning block, cardiac block, emergency block and laboratories.

The upgradation made modern health facilities available at the door step of poor people of this backward area. Official sources said that sixteen male and female doctors, as many charge nurses, 10 lady health visitors besides dispensers, ward boys and medical technicians have also been recruited at the hospital.
