Punjab Food Authority Seal Six Different Food Points

MULTAN, (Muzaffargarh.City – 2nd Aug, 2018 ) :The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) crackdown continued against substandard food businesses and teams sealed six food outlets including four sweet shops, one meat point and pickle points, here on Thursday.

While food safety teams imposed heavy fine of Rs 304,500 to various food points and served notices for improvement on several food points.

The crackdown was vigorously carried out in Multan, Layyah, Muzaffargarh, Rajanpur and its adjacent areas.

The PFA sealed New Al-Madina Sweets, La-Baloria bakery unit, Ismail Sweet Mart and Arslan Sweets in Rahim Yar Khan and Layyah, Zubair Akram meat shop was saled in Multan for selling unhygienic meat. The teams sealed Yousuf pickle point in Vehari.

The raiding teams disposed of 400 liters of liquid ice-cream, 110-liter adulterated milk and 180-kg sweets. The PFA has also served warning notices on various food points during the raids.
