2,537 Transformers Upgraded In 2017-18

MULTAN, (Muzaffargarh.City – 29th Jul, 2018 ) ::Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) upgraded 2,537 transformers at a cost of Rs 591.5 million during the fiscal year 2017-18.

According to MEPCO official sources, the company upgraded transformers to provide early connections and to ensure uninterrupted power supply with the best voltage.

Transformers including seven of 10 KV have been upgraded to 15 KV, 93 of 10 KV to 25 KV, 164 of 15 KV to 25 KV, 523 of 25 KV to 50 KV, 783 of 50 KV to 100 KV, 643 of 100 KV to 200 KV and also upgraded 18 of 25 KVA, 92 of 50 kv, 189 of 100 KVA and nine of 200 KVA.

From July 2017 to June 2018, capacity of 351 transformers upgraded in Multan circle, 262 in DG Khan circle, 226 in Vehari circle, 426 in Bahawalpur circle, 106 in Sahiwal circle, 255 in Rahim Yar Khan circle, 468 in Muzaffargarh circle, 200 in Bahawalnager circle and 243 transformers have been upgraded in Khanewal circle.
