Mufti Qavi Arrested In Qandeel Baloch Murder Case

MULTAN, (Muzaffargarh.City – 18th Oct, 2017 ) :Mufti Abdul Qavi, the suspect of Qandeel Baloch murder case was arrested on Wednesday after he fled from district and sessions court during hearing in Multan.

The court rejected the bail application of Mufti Qavi and ordered the police to arrest him.

Mufti Qavi was absconding towards Muzaffargarh when he was arrested on the Highway, informed official sources from SP Cantt Dr Fahad Mukthar.

Earlier, defence and prosecution counsels argued on the case but District and Sessions judge Ameer Muhammad Khan denied the bail application and directed action against the suspect under sections 302 and 109 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC). Non-bailable arrest warrants were issued for Mufti Abdul Qavi in Qandeel Baloch murder case.
