Government Releases Over Rs6,952 Million For Water, Power Projects
ISLAMABAD, (Muzaffargarh.City – 6th Dec, 2018 ) :The government has released a sum of Rs6,952.776 million for various water and power projects in annual Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) for fiscal year 2018-19 so far.
According to the data of Planning Commission, an amount of Rs6,872.230 million out of total Rs61,616.962 million has been released for water projects and Rs80.546 million out of Rs33,365.570 million for power projects.
A sum of Rs1300 million was released for Extension of Right Bank Outfall Drain (RBOD-II) from Sehwan to Sea, Rs400 million for Kachhi Canal Project, Rs300 million for Remedial Measure to Control Water Logging (Muzaffargarh), Rs200 million for Remodeling of Warsak Canal System (Peshawar) and Rs200 each for Lower Indus Right Bank Irrigation and Drainage (RBOD-I) Qamar-Shahdad Kot and Makh Farash Link Canal Project.
An amount of Rs 400 million was released for Nai Gaj Dam (Dadu), Rs.00 million for Raising of Mangla dam Project, Rs198 million for Kurram Tangi Dam, Rs200 million for Darwat Dam Project, Rs200 million for construction of small storage dams (Balochistan), Rs100 million each for construction of Mangi dam (Quetta), and Sanam, Palai and Kundal Dams,, Rs80 million for Ghabir dam (Chakwal) and Rs160 million for Basool dam (Gwadar).
A sum of Rs40 million was released for construction of 132KV grid station at Dadar, Rs20.546 million for construction of 132 KV grid station at Deep Sea Port (Gwadar) and Rs20 million for 132KV at Isplinji (Mastung).
