Bridegroom Delays Wedding To Cast Vote In Multan

MULTAN, (Muzaffargarh.City – 25th Jul, 2018 ) -:A bridegroom delayed his marriage to cast vote in Multan pleading that participation of people in voting was a must as the process would decide the future of the country.

Mian Bahadur Ali, a resident of Basti Daira, Multan, clad in traditional Sherwani, reached the election camp in hot and humid weather.

Due to vote casting the departure of his marriage party for Muzaffargarh got delayed.

“My brothers and other family members had forbidden me from casting vote but I decided not to leave without meeting this obligation.” Waqas said that date for the marriage was fixed months ago and they did not know then that July 25 would be the polling day for general elections 2018.
