Ban On Bathing, Boating In Rivers, Barrages

MUZAFFARGARH, (Muzaffargarh.City – 27th Dec, 2016 ) : District Coordination Officer Shaukat Ali has imposed a ban with an immidiate effect under Section 144 on bathing and boating in rivers, at headworks and barrage across the district.

According to a notification, issued here on Tuesday, the DCO said that people visit Chanab Park, Head Muhammadwala, Taunsa Barrage, Head Punjnad, Head Luskani and Head Bakaeni during vacations. They bathe there which many a time result in drowning incidents. He said that Section 144 had been imposed to avoid such incidents.
