Anti Corruption Establishment Arrests 900 Corrupt Employees

MULTAN, (Muzaffargarh.City – 09th Mar, 2017 ) : Director General Anti-Corruption Establishment Punjab Brig (R) Muzaffar Ali Ranjha said the department had arrested 900 corrupt employees including officers, from across the province.

Talking to the media here on Wednesday, he said the Punjab government was committed to eradicate the menace of corruption from the province. “We are taking help from modern scientific gadgets for spotting corruption”, he added.

Similarly, the employees accountability system is also being made more effective. He informed that the department had retrieved 4400 kanals from land grabbers in district Muzaffargarh, while legal action was in process for retrieval of another 6000 kanals.

The DCO, who allotted this land, to grabbers, would be arrested very soon, stated DG ACE Muzaffar Ranjha. “We are also paying focus to stop corrupt practices in uplift schemes, in line with directions of the Punjab government.

The department would establish its office in DG Khan in near future. Investigation officers would be given vehicles as part of facilitation to probe different cases, he added.
