Anti Narcotics Force Seizes 3244.453 Kg Drugs Worth Rs 2.379 Billion In 14 Operations
ISLAMABAD (Muzaffargarh.City – 14th March, 2019) Determined to uproot drug menace from the country and the world, Anti Narcotics Force Pakistan seized 3244.453 Kgs Narcotics valuing Rs.
2.379 billion internationally, arrested 16 culprits including 2 ladies and impounded 7 vehicles while conducting 14 counter-narcotic strikes. The seized drugs comprised of 3218.5 Kg Hashish, 16.8 Kg Opium, 5.6 Kg Heroin, 3.553 Kg Amphetamine (Ice) and 1900x Xanax Tablets.In an intelligence based operation, ANF Quetta intercepted an unattended Toyota XLI car without Registration no at Turbat Road District Panjgur and recovered 50 Kgs Hashish.
In another operation, ANF Quetta recovered 15 Kgs Hashish from mountainous area of Boghran Tehsil Chaman District Qilla Abdullah. In third operation, ANF Quetta recovered 2960 Kgs Hashish from General area of Killi Surkhab, Tehsil Khanozai, District Pishin.
In fourth operation, ANF Quetta seized 126 Kgs Hashish from unattended Vehicle Zamyad (Iranian) at Buleda road, Buleda Cross, District Turbat. Resultantly an accused namely Muhammad Iqbal resident of Panjgur was arrested during the operation.ANF Rawalpindi recovered 4.4 Kgs Heroin from personal possession of the two arrested accused ladies namely Dilshadah Begum and Hamna both residents of Peshawar.
They were arrested near Taraki Toll Plaza, main GT Road, District Jhelum. In another operation, ANF Rawalpindi intercepted a Toyota Corolla Car and recovered 1.528 Kgs amphetamine (Ice) near parking area of Islamabad International airport, Islamabad.
Resultantly 3 accused namely Said Wali, Waseem Akram residents of Nowshehra and Ayub Gul resident of Swabi were arrested during the operation. In third operation, ANF Rawalpindi intercepted a Hino Truck near Attock petrol Pump, T-Chowk, GT Road, Islamabad and recovered 6.000 Kgs Hashish which was concealed in secret cavity installed behind seat of the vehicle.
Resultantly two accused identified as Khyal Muhammad and Abdul Khalid both resident of Khyber Agency were arrested.ANF Lahore recovered 1.
2 Kgs Opium and 2.4 Kgs Hashish from personal possession of the two arrested accused namely Muhammad Imran resident of Muzaffargarh and Sanaullah resident of Peshawar.
They were arrested at main Mianwali-Muzaffragarh road near Malik Hakim Hascol Petroleum service, District Mianwali. In another operation, ANF Lahore intercepted a Bed Ford Truck near Shell Petrol Pump, Begowal Wazirabad road, Sialkot and recovered 15.6 Kgs Opium, 1.2 Kgs Heroin and 36.000 Kgs Hashish which was concealed in secret cavity of the said vehicle.
Resultantly an accused identified as Peer Muhammad resident of Swat was arrested.ANF Peshawar arrested Ikram Khan resident of Mardan at International Airport Peshawar, who was travelling to Riyadh through Flight No.
SV-793 and recovered 1900x Xanax Tablets (weighing 0.242 grams), which was concealed in Peanuts Shoppers placed in his bag. In another operation, ANF Peshawar recovered 1.5 Kgs Hashish from personal possession of the arrested accused namely Umair Iqbal resident of Charsadda near Jhari Kas Interchange.
He was travelling in Toyota Hiace passenger Van. Hashish was wrapped in his legs. In third operation, ANF Peshawar intercepted a Carry Van near Central Jail, Indus Highway, Kohat and recovered 19.2 Kgs Hashish, which was concealed in false cavities of the said vehicle.
Resultantly an accused identified as Saifullah resident of Laki Marwat was arrested. In fourth operation, ANF Peshawar arrested Muhammad Hanif resident of Mardan at International airport Peshawar who was travelling to Dammam (KSA) via Bahrain through Flight No.
GF-0785 and recovered 2.025 Kgs amphetamine (ICE) from his trolley bag. In fifth operation, ANF Peshawar recovered 2.4 Kgs Hashish from personal possession of the arrested accused namely Hayat Ullah resident of Mohmand Agency.
He was arrested near Motorway Toll Plaza, Peshawar when he travelling in a passenger bus.All cases have been registered at respective ANF Police Stations under CNS Act 1997 and further investigations are underway.
