24 Uplift Schemes Worth Rs 2.32 Bln Approved
DERA GHAZI KHAN, Aug 7 (Muzaffargarh.City – 07th Aug, 2017 ) : Divisional Development Working Party (DDWP) approved 24 development schemes worth Rs 2.32 billion to be executed in the division.
A special meeting was chaired by Commissioner DG Khan Division Ahmed Ali Kamboh, here on Monday. He said that there would be no compromise on the quality of bricks, to be used for different schemes.
All schemes would be monitored properly and in case of any dereliction or use of defective material, strict action would be taken against contractors. The schemes include 12 roads costing Rs 1.04 billion.
Rs 1.17 billion would be spent on another 11 schemes of Public Health, Sewerage and Water Supply. Tuff tiles would be installed in 17 different union councils. The projects would be made in Muzaffargarh, Layyah , DG Khan and Rajanpur. On this occasion, DC Muzaffargarh Saif Anwar, DC DG Khan Allah Rakha and many other officers were also present.
