Shehbaz Lays Foundation Stone Of 250 Beds
MUZAFFARGARH, (Muzaffargarh.City – 10th Jan, 2017 ) : Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif Tuesday laid foundation stone of another 250 beds at Recep Tayyip Erdogan Hospital. The number of beds with this addition will raise to 350 at the hospital by the end of this year.
During first phase, the government is adding 250 beds while another 150 beds will be added during second phase in future. The overall project of 400 beds will be completed with a cost Rs 9 billions.
The government has acquired 113 acres land for this purpose. Speaking on this occasion, Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif said Recep Tayyip Erdogan Hospital was one of the best hospital of South Punjab.
A good number of patients from across the region visited the hospital, he said and added modern machinery was available in the hospital to cure the patients.
He said, “If we want o move ahead, we have to take each other’s care.” Provincial Health Minister for Specialized Healthcare and Medical education Khawaja Salman Rafique said Pakistan enjoyed friendly ties with Turkey.
He said Punjab government would offer kidney transplant facility at Multan Kidney Centre. Chief Executive Officer Recep Tayyip Erdogan Hospital Mujahid Sherdil said the acquired land would also be utilized for medical college, nursing school, para medical college and residential facilities for the staffers.
On this occasion, Sher Ali Gorchani, Provincial Minister for Housing Haroon Sultan, Secretary Health Najam Shah and local parliamentarians were also present.
