Rs 10,376 Mln Released For Various Water Projects So Far

ISLAMABAD, (Muzaffargarh.City – 02nd Jan, 2018 ) :The Planning Commission has released Rs 10,376 million against total allocation of Rs 36,750 million in annual Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) 2017-18 for various water projects.

According to the data of Planning Commission, a sum of Rs 2,600 million has been released for Extension of Right Bank Outfall Drain (RBOD-II), Rs180 million for Lower Indus Irrigation and Drainage Project (RBOD-I), Rs 240 million for Balochistan Effluent Disposal into RBOD-1 (RBOD-III), Rs 140 million for Channelization of Deg Nullah Punjab, Rs.

160 million for construction of small dams (Sindh), Rs.1700 million for Remedial Measures to Control Water Logging due to Muzaffargarh and TP Link Canal and Rs.80 million for Rehabilitation of irrigation system in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

An amount of Rs.5,000 million has been released for Kachhi Canal Project Phase-1, Rs 40 million for Kurram Tangi Dam Project, Rs.80 million for Revamping of Irrigation and Drainage System of Sindh, Rs.26 million for Remodeling of Warsak Canal and Rs.80 million for Lining of Distribution and Minors in Sindh.
