Punjab Food Authority Seals 11 Food Points

MULTAN, (Muzaffargarh.City – 3rd Oct, 2018 ) :The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) has sealed 11 food points for using sub-standard material and poor cleanliness arrangements during an operation launched here on Wednesday.

Director General PFA Capt (R) Muhammad Usman conducted raid at Mux Food situated near Bahawalpur Bypass to check quality of material.

The PFA team found sub-standard material, fake labels and unhygienic oil from the food point and sealed the Mux Food.

The team led by DG PFA also sealed three chilly manufacturing points during a raid at Grain Market for using sub-standard material.

Meanwhile, the team also sealed two factories of pickles and wasted 2,000 kg unhygienic pickles.

Another three pickle points have also been sealed, including Nazar Achar unit, Golden Achar unit and Nazir Achar unit, over poor cleanliness and sub-standard material during a raid at Muzaffargarh road.

The PFA team sealed three sweet shops, including Mairaj food, Almadina Bakers Vehari and Abubakar sweet production unit Layyah.

It is pertinent to mention here the grand operation against food points continued from the last few days in South Punjab which was being supervised by Director General Punjab Food AuthorityCapt (R) Muhammad Usman.
