Performance Of Officials Being Monitored: Younis Dhaga

MULTAN, (Muzaffargarh.City – 19th Jan, 2017 ) : Federal Secretary for Water and Power Muhammad Younis Dhaga on Thursday said the ministry of water and power was continuously monitoring performance of officials of electricity distribution companies.

He expressed these views while addressing a prize distribution ceremony here. He said it was necessary to encourage officials over good performance and assured that the ministry would extend full support to resolve problems faced by employees in field.

The prizes were distributed among 21 officials of the Multan Electric Power Company (Mepco) over excellent performance. Chief Executive Officer Mepco Engineer Masood Salahuddin briefed the secretary that action was taken against 2,546 officials over poor performance during the first six months of the fiscal year 2016-17.

Meanwhile, the secretary inaugurated the latest digital system of shifting furnace oil tanker to power station at Tharmaal Power Station Muzaffargarh.
