MUZAFFARGARH: In an acid attack, a woman sustained burnt injuries after which she was admitted in critical condition at a local hospital of Muzaffargarh, Aaj News reported.

According to details, a man, identified as Saeed Ahmed exchanged harsh words with a woman namely Zuhra Bibi at Chowk Qureshi, after which the accused, along with his two cronies, arrived at woman’s residence and attacked her with acid.

The victim was shortly shifted to hospital after she lost her one eye and the left side of the body was badly affected.

In this regard, police has been registered a case against all three accused in Qureshi Police Station, however, the accused are still at large.
