Multan Electric Power Company Recovers Rs849.7m From Defaulters

MULTAN, (Muzaffargarh.City – 27th Jun, 2018 ) :The Multan Electric Power Company (Mepco) launched an operation against defaulters and recovered over Rs 849.7 million from 77,833 defaulters during fiscal year 2017-18.

The Mepco teams launched the operation in 13 districts of South Punjab from July 2017 to May 2018.

According to a press release issued here on Wednesday, the teams recovered Rs 191.1 million from 16,210 defaulters in Multan circle, Rs 106.6 million from 8,304 defaulters in DG Khan circle, Rs 64.8 million from 4,204 defaulters in Vehari circle, Rs 96.

4 million from 13,650 defaulters in Bahawalpur circle, Rs64.6 million from 5,240 defaulters in Sahiwal circle, Rs 94.4 million from 9,493 defaulters in Rahimyar Khan circle and Rs 113.5 millions have been recovered from 9,898 defaulters in Muzaffargarh circle.

Similarly, pending dues of Rs 62.5 million have been recovered from 5,608 defaulters in Bahawalnager circle and Rs 55.8 millions have been recovered from 5,226 defaulters in Khanewal circle, the press release added.
