Mepco Replaced 123,207 Electricity Meters In 2016-17

MULTAN, (Muzaffargarh.City – 21st Feb, 2017 ) : Multan Electric Power Company (Mepco) replaced 123,207 burnt or faulty electricity meters, in the on-going year 2016-17. According to official sources, 114,687 electricity meters were single phase, 8,048 three phase and 472 MDI, which were replaced to facilitate the consumers.

In Multan Circle, 15,339 meters, 5,205 in DG Khan, 11,608 in Vehari, 25,507 in Bahawalpur, 17,032 in Sahiwal, 17,288 in Rahim Yar Khan, 8,989 in Muzaffargarh, 9,382 in Bahawalnagar, and 12,857 meters were replaced in Khanewal circle.
