Farewell Meeting Of Punjab Cabinet Held
LAHORE, (Muzaffargarh.City – 31st May, 2018 ) ::The farewell meeting of the Punjab Cabinet was held here on Wednesday with Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif in the chair.
According to a handout, the meeting gave approval to the grant for the construction of Naval Model school in Gwadar by Pakistan Navy. Annual performance report of Daanish School Authority was also presented in the meeting and the Chief Minister gave approval to it. Meeting approved first IT policy of the province.
The approval of ex post facto for getting the services of legal counsel for public sector companies was also given along with approval of establishment of proposed Al-Karam International Institute Bhera Sargodha. The meeting approved to give the status of Bahadur University Layyah to Bahadur sub-campus of Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan in Layyah along with the approval of establishment of Khurshid Engineering College Layyah.
The meeting also approved draft of MoU between the Agriculture department Punjab and Meteorological department of Pakistan. Approval of SOPs for setting up private agricultural produce market was granted along with approval of increase in powers of mayor of Lahore Metropolitan Corporation.
Four tier service structure of field assistants of agri department was granted approval as well. Financing of Recep Tayyip Erdogan Hospital Muzaffargarh was also approved along with approval of ex post facto for public sector companies.
Minutes of 33rd meeting of Punjab cabinet were also approved.
The cabinet appreciated the steps taken for elimination of terrorism and load-shedding in the tenure of former Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that Pakistan got rid of many challenges in his tenure and it was the golden era of Pakistan’s history.
Punjab cabinet appreciated the leadership and untiring efforts of Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and said that Shehbaz Sharif had made Punjab a developed province with his vision and further said, “Shehbaz Sharif is filled with the passion of public service and we are lucky that Punjab has got a hard working Chief Minister like Shehbaz Sharif.”Addressing the meeting, Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif said the Punjab government set records of public service and positive results had been achieved with the hard work of political and administrative team.
He said Punjab had taken the lead in every sector and political opponents had no project of public service. He said that a new history had been written by the hard work of provincial ministers, Chief Secretary, secretaries and others.
Provincial Law Minister Rana Sanaullah said that Shehbaz Sharif proved his mettle with his acts.
Provincial ministers also spoke on the occasion.
The chief secretary said that examples of good governance had been set by the Chief Minister.
Provincial Ministers, advisors, special assistants, chief secretary and others attended the meeting.
