Early Resolution Of Kashmir Issue Stressed
MULTAN, (Muzaffargarh.City – 05th Feb, 2018 ) :Kashmir Solidarity Day was observed here and other parts of South Punjab on Monday with a renewed pledge to continue moral support to Kashmiri people in their struggle of freedom.
Pakistan Muslim League-N, Jamat-e-Islami, Sunni Tehreek, civil society activists and other politico-religious parties took out rallies to mark the day. They made a human chain from Chowk Ghanta Ghar to Hussain Agahi.
Rallies, public meetings and seminars were also organized at scores of schools to draw attention of the world community towards the plight of Kashmiris. Traders and social organisations also staged demonstrations and burnt tyres on roads to express their anger against Indian atrocities on Kashmiris.
With comprehensive security arrangements, the day was marked in a befitting manner and hallmark of the day was human chain of Pakistanis and Kashmiris in Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Khanewal, Lodhran, Vehari, Rajanpur, Muzaffargarh and Layyah to reiterate complete solidarity with Kashmiri people.
FM Radio stations and Radio Multan presented special programmes to highlight different aspects of the Kashmir issue. Former Speaker Fakhar Imam, Shiekh Tariq Rasheed, Mayor Naveedul Haq, Deputy Mayor Munawar Ehsan Qureshi and others paid rich tribute to martyrs of Kashmir. They also stressed upon United Nations to ensure resolution of Kashmir issue as per wishes of the Kashmiris.
