Canal Officials Asked To Repair Spurs

MUZAFFARGARH, (Muzaffargarh.City – 22nd Jun, 2017 ) : District Commissioner Muhammad Saif Anwar has directed the canal officials to repair and construct embankments at Chenab river before monsoon to avert any flood like situation.

Addressing a meeting of District Disaster Management Committee Authority Thursday, he assured on behalf of health department that all necessary drugs including anti-venom and rabies vaccine would be available during the time of disaster.

He directed the TMOs to keep de-watering system ready with assuring availability of operators on time. He said social welfare officers had already in coordination of NGOs volunteers, and Rescue 1122 to cope with any emergency like situation. The meeting was attended by AC Dr Saifullah Bhatti, AC Kot Addu Zahoor Hussain, AC tehsil Jitoi Aurangzaib and others.
