Agri Deptt To Facilitate Farmers For Soil Sampling

MULTAN, (Muzaffargarh.City -9th Sept,2016) : The Punjab government will collect samples of agricultural soil for analysis to facilitate farmers for preparation of soil to boost agriculture yield.

The official sources of the agriculture department said here on Friday that the government would analysis 10 acres per month from all tehsils of the province.

About 21,940 samples from district Muzaffargarh and 14,730 from district Dera Ghazi Khan would be taken in this regard.

The step would surely help improve soil quality besides offering handsome return to farmers, the source added.
