OPF Multan Sends Proposal For Its Own Building
MULTAN, (Muzaffargarh.City – 19th Jul, 2017 ) : The Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF) Multan has sent a proposal for the construction of its own office in the city. The OPF Office has been established in the city in 2007 with an aim to resolve problems of Overseas Pakistanis hailing from South Punjab.
According to the OPF sources, the regional office has not its own building and is serving in a rented building. Recently, a proposal has been sent to the government for the permission of the construction of its building.
The sources said the OPF Multan was providing facilitaties to Overseas Pakistanis hailing from different districts, including Vehari, Dera Ghazi Khan, Rajanpur, Khanewal, Rahim Yar Khan, Bahawalnagar, Muzaffargarh, Sahiwal, Pakpattan, besides other cities of South Punjab.
The OPF had set up girls and boys high schools in Multan, Pakpattan and Depalpur (Okara) for children of Overseas Pakistanis while the OPF Desk at Multan International Airport was functioning round-the-clock.
The OPF administration had also introduced a modern eye hospital in Dera Ghazi Khan, the sources said. They said out of total 783 complaints registered with the OPF Multan, 645 had been addressed. However, work was in progress to resolve remaining applications.
