MEPCO Imposes Rs 2.5 Bln Fine On Power Pilferers

MULTAN, (Muzaffargarh.City – 23rd May, 2018 ) ::Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) imposed over Rs 2.5 billion fine on 996,795 power pilferers and recovered over Rs 2.2054 billion during last 10 months in the region.

According to MEPCO sources, a total of Rs 488.

87 million fine was imposed in Multan Circle, Rs 563.4 million in Dera Ghazi Khan, Rs 147.6 million in Vehari, Rs 295.7 million in Bahawalpur, Rs 202.3 million in Sahiwal, Rs 284 million in Rahim Yar Khan, Rs 291.7 million in Muzaffargarh and Rs 134.01 million in Bahawalnagar circle on electricity pilferage.
