Multan Electric Power Company Recovered Bills Worth Over Rs 153.77b In 2017-18

MULTAN, (Muzaffargarh.City – 11th Jun, 2018 ) :Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) recovered bills worth over Rs 153.77 billion from consumers with recovery ratio of 100 per cent during the current fiscal year 2017-2018.

According to MEPCO official sources, the company had recovered more than Rs 146.19 billion from private consumers with recovery ratio of 99.97 per cent while over Rs 7.57 billion recovered from different government departments with recovery ratio of 92.28 percent.

MEPCO recovered Rs 34.15 billion with recovery ratio of 100 per cent from Multan circle during July 2017 to May 2018, Rs 11.82 billion from DG Khan circle with recovery ratio of 98.

47 per cent, Rs 12.77 billion from Vihari circle with recovery ratio of 99.44 per cent, Rs 19.66 billion from Bahawalpur circle with recovery ratio of 100pc, Rs 20.30 billion from Sahiwal circle with recovery ratio of 99.45pc and Rs 16.32 billion recovered from Rahimyar Khan circle where ratio was recorded as 98.69 per cent.

Similarly, bills of Rs 17.58 billion were recovered from Muzaffargarh circle with recovery ratio of 100.24 per cent, Rs 9.58 billion from Bahawalnager circle with recovery ratio of 100.66 per cent while Rs 11.56 billion recovered from Khanewal circle with recovery ratio of 98.22 per cent from July 2017 toMay 2018, MEPCO sources added.
