MEPCO Recovers Over Rs 236.4 M From 22894 Defaulters

MULTAN, (Muzaffargarh.City – 18th Oct, 2018 ) :Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) has launched an operation against defaulters and recovered over Rs 236.4 millions from 22,894 defaulters during the current fiscal year 2018-19.

In line with special directions of Chief Executive Officer MEPCO Engineer Muhammad Akram Chaudhry, the MEPCO team launched operation in 13 districts of the South Punjab from July 2018 to September 2018.

According to a press release issued here on Thursday, the MEPCO teams recovered Rs 65.2 millions from 4817 defaulters of Multan circle, Rs 25.

5 millions from 2867 defaulter of DG Khan circle, Rs 12.2 millions from 1044 defaulters of Vehari circle, Rs 24.3 millions from 3462 defaulters of Bahawalpur circle, Rs 14.2 millions from 1264 defaulters of Sahiwal circle, Rs 29.2 millions from 2698 defaulters of Rahimyar Khan circle and Rs 40.4 millions from 3145 defaulters of Muzaffargarh circle.

Similarly, pending dues of Rs 9.6 millions have been recovered from 913 defaulters of Bahawalnager circle and Rs 15.6millions from 1684 defaulters of Khanewal circle, release added.
