Multan Electric Power Company Recovers Bills Worth Rs 51bln

MULTAN, (Muzaffargarh.City – 19th Sep, 2019 ) :Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) recovered Rs 51 billion under the billing head from government and private consumers with recovery ratio of 97.32 percent during current fiscal year 2019-20.

The MEPCO sources told here on Thursday that Rs 49 billion was recovered from private consumers with recovery ratio of 97.65 percent while Rs 2.57 billion from government institutions/ departments with recovery ration of 91.34 percent.

The company had recovered more than Rs 11.77 billion with recovery ratio of 97.54 percent from government and private consumers in Multan circle, Rs 3.91 billions from DG Khan circle with recovery ratio of 97.

44 percent, Rs 4.7 billions from Vehari circle with recovery ratio of 98.25 percent, Rs 6.73 billions from Bahawalpur circle with recovery ratio of 96.83 pc, Rs 6.91 billions from Sahiwal circle with recovery ratio of 98.01 pc and Rs 5.72 billions had been recovered from Rahimyar Khan circle where ratio was recorded as 96.43 percent.

Similarly, bills of Rs 5.63 billions had been recovered from Muzaffargarh circle with recovery ratio of 96.58 percent, Rs 2.97 billions from Bahawalnager circle with recovery ratio of 97.80 percent while bills Rs 3.83 billions had been recovered from Khanewal circle with recovery ratio of 97.17 percent during July-Ist 2019 to Aug 31,2019, MEPCO sources added.
