929 Transformers Upgraded In 2017-18
MULTAN, (Muzaffargarh.City – 29th Jan, 2018 ) :Multan Electric Power Company (Mepco) has upgraded 929 transformers with a cost of over Rs 198 million during the fiscal year 2017-18. According to mepco office sources, the company has upgraded 929 transformers to provide early new connections with best voltage to consumers.
The transformers including 45 of 10 KV have been upgraded to 25 KV, 55 from 15 KV to 25 KV, 204 from 25 KV to 50 KV, 367 from 50 KV to 100 KV and 111 from 100 KV to 200 KV. The company has also upgraded 10 transformers of 25 KVA, 40 of 50 KVA, 92 of 100 KVA and five of 200 KVA during the year 2017-18.
From July 2017 to December 2017, capacity of 88 transformers has been upgraded in Multan circle, 110 in DG Khan circle, 30 in Vehari circle, 257 in Bahawalpur circle, 15 in Sahiwal circle, 117 in Rahimyar Khan circle, 211 in Muzaffargarh circle, 70 in Bahawalnagar circle and 31 transformers have been upgraded in Khanewal circle.
