92 Distribution Transformers Upgraded During 2018-19

MULTAN, (Muzaffargarh.City – 28th Oct, 2018 ) ::Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) has upgraded 92 distribution transformers during the fiscal year 2018-19 at a cost of Rs 16.7 million.

According to a press release issued here on Sunday, the distribution transformers were being upgraded to bring more improvement in the system and also to provide early new connections to consumers.

The MEPCO has upgraded two transformers from 10 KV to 25 KV, five from 15 KV to 25 KV, 23 from 25 KV to 50 KV, 22 from 50 KV to 100 KV, one from 75 KV to 200 KV, 20 from 100 KV to 200 KV and also upgraded two transformers of 50 KV, 13 of 100 KVA and four of 200 KV during the fiscal year 2018-19.

The release added that as per directives of CEO MEPCO Engineer Muhammad Akram Chaudhry, 29 transformers have been upgraded in Multan circle, 30 in Rahim Yar Khan circle, 30 in Muzaffargarh Circle and three in Bahawalnager circle.
