68 Deaths, 1906 New Cases Of Coronavirus Reported In Punjab
According to the data shared by the spokesperson of Punjab Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department (P&SHD), the number of coronavirus cases in the province reached 312,522.
The P&SHD confirmed that 734 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Lahore, 5 in Kasur, 36 in Sheikhupura,36 in Nankana Sahib,147 in Rawalpindi, 4 in Jehlum,10 in Chakwal, 27 in Gujranwala, 16 in Mandi Bahauddin,17 in Sialkot,1 in Narowal, 3 in Gujrat,142 in Faisalabad, 20 in Toba Tek Singh,12 in Chineot, 49 in Jhang, 92 in Sargodha,1 in Mianwali, 2 in Khoshab, 9 in Bhakkar,188 in Multan,18 in Vehari,19 in Khanewal, 6 in Lodharan,12 in Muzaffargarh, 29 in Dera Ghazi Khan,16 in Layyah, 8 in Rajanpur,103 in Rahimyar Khan, 51 in Bahawalpur,14 Bahawalnagar, 35 in Okara, 5 in Pakpatan and 39 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Sahiwal district during the last 24 hours till filing of this news.
The Punjab health department conducted 4,686,825 tests for COVID-19 so far while 262,555 confirmed cases recovered altogether in the province.
The Punjab health department had urged the masses to follow SOPs for their protection and cover their faces with masks.
The people should wash their hands with soap several times in a day to protect themselves from COVID-19.
