4th Group Of 20 Rescue Officers Leave For Turkey For Training

RAWALPINDI, (Muzaffargarh.City – 20th Nov, 2017 ) :Fourth group of 20 emergency officers and instructors of Rescue-1122 Sunday night left for training in Izmir, Turkey. According to a Rescue-1122 spokesman, Emergency Services Punjab Director General Dr Rizwan Naseer giving final briefing prior to their departure asked the officers to seek maximum training of emergency and disaster management, emergency healthcare system, training, monitoring and other related mechanisms.

He thanked the Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif for continuous support and interest in improving the healthcare system in Punjab. DEOs Muhammad Aslam Rajanpur, Dr Muhammad Irshad-ul-Haq, Muzaffargarh, Dr Ijaz Anjum Khanewal, Dr Faisal Mehmood, Jhelum, Dr Ateeq Ahmad Khan Chakwal, Shahid Waheed Lahore, Naveed Iqbal Bakkhar, Dr Kaleem Ullah Multan, Imran Khan MB Din, Muhammad Amir, EOs Ali Hussain, Rawalpindi, Aamir Abbas Khan Farhan Mirza,Yasir Riaz Gilani, assistant director Rescue, Syed Muddeasir Husain, admin officer and instructors including Zahid Khan, Ahmad Naeem Sajid, Muhamad Kareem Ashiq and Umar Hayyat are included in the group.

After training, the officers and instructors will help improving fleet management of the Motorbike Ambulance Service and also train rest of the rescuers. Addressing the group members, Dr Rizwan Naseer said Rescue 1122 had been contributing towards healthcare system by providing emergency care to the helpless victims of emergencies in Punjab since its inception in 2004.

He said in recent past, due to earnest efforts of Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Turkish President Tayyib Erodgon agreed to extend his all-out support to improve healthcare system in Pakistan.

Consequently, different departments of Turkey were providing technical support and training to the departments of Punjab especially in improving the healthcare system of the province on war-footings, he added. He said the chief minister Punjab was committed to strengthen various departments of the province in collaboration with Turkish government.
