MULTAN, (Muzaffargarh.City – 17th Jul, 2017 ) : Multan Electric Power Company (Mepco) upgraded 1475 transformers at a cost of Rs 436.8 million during the fiscal year 2016-17. According to mepco sources, four transformers of 10 KV has been upgraded to 25 KV, 18 of 10 KV to 25 KVA, 48 from 15 KV to 25 KV, 210 from 25 KV to 50 KV, 404 from 50 KV to 100 KV, 495 from 100 KV to 200 KV and also upgraded one at 15 KVA, 12 of 25 KVA, 82 of 50 KV, 178 of 100 KVA and 23 of 200 KVA.
From July 2016 to June 2017, capacity of 166 transformers was upgraded in Multan circle, 104 in DG Khan circle, 182 in Vehari circle, 315 in Bahawalpur circle, 57 in Sahiwal circle, 173 in Rahimyar Khan circle, 109 in Muzaffargarh circle, 279 in Bahawalnager circle and 90 transformers has been upgraded in Khanewal circle.
