Ulema Cooperation Sought To Make Polio Drive A Success

MUZAFFARGARH, (Muzaffargarh.City – 11th Nov, 2016 ) : District Coordination Officer Shaukat Ali has said that all departments concerned should work together for complete elimination of polio from the country.

Presiding over a meeting in connection with the anti-polio drive, he directed officials to seek Ulema cooperation to make the campaign successful.

He said that there was dire need for creating awareness among masses about the crippling disease.

Earlier, EDO Health Dr Shahid Magsi said that the three days polio drive would commence from Nov 23, while drops would be administered to 816,054 children under five years of age. He said that 1,793 teams have been constituted which would administer drops to kids to protect them from the crippling disease.
