FAISALABAD, (Muzaffargarh.City -9th Sept,2016) : The Technical education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) has launched Solar Photovoltic System Power for Generation course and decided to train 3000 youth in this course.
A spokesman for the TEVTA told here on Friday that the course had been offered in 17 major cities of Punjab, including Faisalabad, Sargodha, Sheikhpura, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Lahore, Sahiwal, Kasur, Chakwal, Attock, Khanewal, Taxila, Bahawalnagar, Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Muzaffargarh and Multan.
He said the TEVTA had offered this course totally free of cost and no fee was being charged from any trainee rather a stipend of Rs 1,000 was being paid to each participant of the course on monthly basis.
Matric pass as well as students who have middle certificate along with electrician course diploma are eligible for admission in this course which would also be started in other cities of Punjab during next phase, he added.
