Suspected Swine Flu Patient Tested Negative

MULTAN, (Muzaffargarh.City – 20th Dec, 2017 ) :A suspected Swine Flu patient who died at Nishtar Hospital on Tuesday morning, was tested negative here on Wednesday. Saleem (29) belonged to Mailsi district was admitted to Nishtar on Monday with respiratory distress.

Nishtar Hospital focal person for Infectious diseases, Dr Irfan Arshad, said that Saleem was a suspected case of seasonal influenza, but he was tested negative today. “We received Saleem’s clinical reports from Nishtar Pathology Laboratory wherein he has been tested negative for Swine Flu,” Dr Irfan informed.

Fazlain Bibi of Shah Jamal, Muzaffargarh is another suspected patient who was being treated at ICU, he added.
