MULTAN, (Muzaffargarh.City – 20th May, 2019 ) : Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) caught 1,156 power pilferers and imposed over Rs 35 million fine so far during the ongoing month.
According to a MEPCO press release, issued here on Monday, its taskforce also got registered cases against 382 power pilferers with the police stations concerned.
The taskforce arrested 129 power thieves from Multan circle, 435 from DG Khan circle, 112 from Vehari, 84 from Bahawalpur, 65 from Sahiwal, 134 from Rahim Yar Khan, 99 from Muzaffargarh, 21 from Bahawalnager circle and 77 from Khanewal circle during May so far.
