MULTAN, (Muzaffargarh.City – 10th Aug, 2018 ) :The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) crackdown on substandard food businesses continued on Friday as the teams sealed off four more food outlets including three bakers and ice-factory here.
The food safety teams also imposed Rs 218,000 fine on various food points and served notices on several others for improvement of cleanliness and food quality.
The crackdown was carried out in DG Khan, Muzaffargarh, Layyah, Rajanpur and its adjacent areas.
The PFA sealed Waseem Bakers, Malik Bakers in DG Khan, Shero Ice-Factory and Dewan Sweets in Bahawalnagar.
The raiding teams destroyed 165-kg unhygienic sweetsand other items.
