Punjab Food Authority Seals 11 Food Outlets In South Punjab

MULTAN, (Muzaffargarh.City – 5th Oct, 2018 ) :The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) sealed 11 eateries and imposed a fine of Rs 116,500 in South Punjab on unhygienic conditions and using unhealthy ingredients.

In a statement issued here on Friday, PFA teams led by Director General Punjab Food Authority raided at Muzaffargarh and sealed Hamza Sabir Sweet, Afzal Bakery, Syedan Shah Sweets unit in Rajanpur and Nadeem Bakery in Lodhran.

The teams also sealed canteens of two schools in Muzaffargarh.

Al-Manzoor Foods in Khanewal and Baba Foods in Bahawalpur were also sealed.

A Production unit of red pepper was also sealed in Rahim Yar Khan and hotel in DG Khan.

The teams also imposed a fine of Rs 116,500 on violations of the PFA rules.

The teams also disposed of 4,725 litres juice, 180kg sweets and other food items.
