PHC Teams Closes Down 203 Quack Outlets In Last Week

LAHORE, (Muzaffargarh.City – 14th Oct, 2018 ) :The Punjab Healthcare Commission (PHC) closed down 203 quack centres during the last week.

In a crackdown on quacks, the PHC teams took action in different cities, including Lahore, with the police and district authorities.

They had visited 915 treatment centres, including 120 in Sheikhupura, 107 in Bahawalpur, 100 in Faisalabad, 95 in Sargrodha, 93 in Gujranwala 93, 92 each in Lahore and Rawalpindi, 85 in Sahiwal and 59 in Muzaffargarh.

Among the sealed centres, 34 were in Sheikhupura, 30 in Gujranwala, 25 in Sahiwal, 23 in Faisalabad, 20 in Bahawalpur 20, 19 each in Sargodha and Rawalpindi, 10 inLahore 10 and nine in Muzaffargarh.
