Over 7000 Youth Get Training Under PYWD

MULTAN, (Muzaffargarh.City – 13th Dec, 2018 ) -:More than 7000 youngsters including 816 females got technical training under USAID’s Punjab Youth Workforce Development (PYWD) Project during the last two years.

This was disclosed by Chief of Party (CoP) PYWD, Qaisar Nadeem,while talking to APP here on Thursday.

He said that the project was ongoing under “Public Private Sector Management” in which youth from Multan,Bahawalpur,Lodhran and Muzaffargarh districts were imparted technical training,counselling and assistance for getting jobs.

He said that 3510 out of 7000 young people were provided assistance for jobs,adding that students of age 16-29 years were facilitated under the project.

He said that eight career counselling centres have been setup in four districts out of which four were fixed for females.
