Over 1.2 Million Saplings To Be Planted In DG Khan Division

MUZAFFARGARH, (Muzaffargarh.City – 13th Sep, 2018 ) :Commissioner DG Khan Division Rana Gulzar Ahmad Thursday said that 950,000 saplings’ plantation target for the division has risen up to over 1.2 million after Muzaffargarh administration elevated its target of 255,000 to 531,000 saplings.

While planting a sapling at Technology College Muzaffargarh, the commissioner appreciated the ongoing plantation campaign in the district and hoped Muzaffargarh might be able to win top position.

Deputy commissioner Qaisar Saleem said that over 400,000 saplings had so far been planted in the district and hoped that the forest department would achieve the target with the cooperation of other departments.

DFO Muhammad Nauman said that 411,500 saplings had so far been planted in the district and proper arrangements had been made for their follow up care to turn them into fully grown trees.
