Mepco Replaces 386,735 Faulty Meters

MULTAN, (Muzaffargarh.City – 17th May, 2018 ) :Multan Electric Power Company (Mepco) replaced exactly 386,735 faulty meters during the year 2017-18 so far. Mepco spokesman said in a statement here Thursday that these meters were found to be faulty due to technical reasons or other incidents which included 373,786 single phase meters and over 12,000 three phase meters.

Area wise statistics show that from July 2017 to Apr 2018, over 47,000 meters were replaced in Multan circle, over 32,000 in DG Khan circle, over 33,000 in Vehari circle, over 55,000 in Bahawalpur circle, over 40,000 in Sahiwal circle, over 53,000 in Rahim Yar Khan circle, over 61,000 in Muzaffargarh circle, over 30,000 in Bahawalnagar circle, and over 31,000 in Khanewal circle.
