Mepco Recovers Rs 84.63bln

MULTAN, Mar 7 (Muzaffargarh.City – 07th Mar, 2017 ) : Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) recovered over Rs 84.63 billion as power bills during the current fiscal year 2016-17, with a remarkable recovery ratio of 100 per cent.

According to a press release, issued here on Tuesday, MEPCO recovered bills all circles of the region including Multan, Muzaffargarh, DG Khan, Khanewal, Vehari, Bahawalnager, Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan and Sahiwal from July 2016 to January 2017.

Rs 44.66 billion were recovered from private consumers and Rs 10.13 billion from commercial consumers. Similarly, Rs 17.63 billion were recovered from industrial consumers, Rs 10.9 billion from tube-well consumers and Rs 2 billion from other consumers.
