MEPCO Recovered Rs 175.45bln In 2017-18 Fiscal Year

MULTAN, (Muzaffargarh.City – 29th Jul, 2018 ) ::Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO)recovered over Rs 175.45 billion from the consumers in line with billing with the recovery ratio of 100 per cent during current fiscal year 2017-2018.

According to MEPCO official sources, the company recovered more than Rs 166.47 billion from private consumers with recovery ratio of 99.86 per cent, while over Rs 8.98 billion were recovered from different government departments with recovery ratio of 96.42 per cent.

MEPCO recovered Rs 38.77 billion with recovery ratio of 100 per cent from Multan circle during July 2017 to June 30, 2018, over Rs 13.45 billion from DG Khan circle with recovery ratio of 98.

45 per cent, over Rs 14.53 billion from Vehari circle with recovery ratio of 98.78 per cent, over Rs 22.50 billion from Bahawalpur circle with recovery ratio of 100pc, over Rs 23.13bln from Sahiwal circle with recovery ratio of 99.49pc, over Rs 18.94bln recovered from Rahim Yar Khan circle where ratio recorded as 99.37 per cent.

Similarly, bills of Rs 20 billion had been recovered from Muzaffargarh circle with recovery ratio of 100.45 per cent, Rs 10.84 billion from Bahawalnager circle with recovery ratio of 100.51 per cent while over Rs 13.20 billion had been recovered from Khanewal circle with recovery ratio of 98.26 per cent from July 2017 to June 30, 2018, MEPCO sources added.
