MULTAN, (Muzaffargarh.City – 24th Nov, 2017 ) :Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) installed 345-kilometre high tension (HT) lines during year 2017-18. The total length of HT lines of MEPCO has reached 73,244 kilometres, while 172-kilometre low tension (LT) lines installed during the said period, and the total length of LT lines reached 47,896 kilometres.
According to a press release issued here on Friday, the company installed 28-kilometre HT and 24-kilometre LT lines in Multan circle, 23-kilometre HT and 15-kilometre LT lines in DG Khan, 38-kilometre HT and 28-kilometre LT lines in Vehari, 57-kilometre HT and 54-LT lines in Bahawalpur, 39-kilometre HT and five-kilometre LT lines in Sahiwal, 22-kilometre HT and five-kilometre LT lines in Rahim Yar Khan, 16-kilometre HT and six-kilometre LT lines in Muzaffargarh, 58-kilometre HT and 32-kilometre LT lines in Bahawal Nagar and 59-kilometre HT lines were installed in Khanewal circle from July-2017 to Oct-2017.
