License Holders Asked To Change Their Automatic Weapons Till Jan 31

MUZAFFARGARH, (Muzaffargarh.City – 04th Jan, 2018 ) :Lahore-18 Deputy commissioner Muhammad Saif Anwar said on Thursday the Punjab government had ordered to suspend all the licenses of automatic weapons of prohibited bore and urged the people to either get their weapons changed from arms certified dealers or manufacturers or deposit them with the government against cash payment.

In a press release issued here, the DC said that people holding licenses of automatic weapons of prohibited bore should replace these weapons by non-automatic weapons from certified arms dealers or manufacturers.

Or, they can also deposit their automatic weapons with the government against cash payment i.e Rs 50,000 in case of automatic weapon of prohibited bore and Rs 20,000 in case of automatic gun. License holders of district Muzaffargarh can deliver their automatic weapons to the office of deputy commissioner.

The DC said that all the licenses of automatic weapons of prohibited bore would be cancelled after January 31, 2018.
