MUZAFFARGARH, (Muzaffargarh.City – 6th Dec, 2018 ) :On the directives of Inspector General Punjab Amjad Javed Salemi, a drug awareness campaign Thursday started in the district under the supervision of District Police Officer Muhammad Imran Kishwar.
A seminar was held at Government Boys College in this connection, DSP Muzaffargarh, Gazanfar Khan Tangwani participated in the seminar.
The DSP said that the purpose of the seminar was to spread awareness amongst the students about drug abuses.
“islam prohibited us to use of drugs,” he added.
He said that our youth is future of the country and a drug addict can not play any role in development of the country.
For this purpose, a campaign had been started to save the youthfrom drugs, he added.
The police have also taking action against drug traffickers.
