Distt Agriculture Consultation Committee Consituted

MUZAFFARGARH, (Muzaffargarh.City – 18th Jan, 2017 ) : The district administration has constituted a District Agriculture Consultation Committee (DACC) to review issues of the agriculture sector.

The deputy commissioner Muzaffargarh will be chairman of the DACC while deputy director agriculture (extension) would be its secretary while DPO, SE Irrigation, SE Mepco, Circle Registrar, Additional Director Livestock, Divisional Forest Officer, Zonal Head PASSCO, Assistant Director Chemist, representatives of some farmers organizations would be its members.

The committee will initiate different schemes for welfare of farmers. Besides this,the committee would monitor situation of crops and achievement of targets given by the Punjab government.
