Bike-lifter Gang Busted In Bahawalpur

BAHAWALPUR, (Muzaffargarh.City – 30th Aug, 2017 ) : Police have arrested a gang of bike-lifters in Uch Sharif area of Bahawalpur district that was involved in stealing motorcycles in Multan, Bahawalpur, Muzaffargarh and other districts.

Police sources said here on Wednesday that Bilal Banga gang was wanted in cases pertaining to lifting bikes in several districts including Multan, Bahawalpur and Muzaffargarh.

They said that the suspects used to get rented house in any area and lift motorcycle and after living there for some time, they leave that area.

“Recently, the gang got a rented house in Uch Sharif area and started its criminal activities, the police said. Acting on a tip-off, a police party raided the house and arrested five suspects. The police also recovered cash, weapons and mechanical equipments used to break lock of the motorcycle. The accused were being interrogated. Further probe was underway.
