Basti Lashari Incident: DC Enquires About Health Of Victims In Nishtar Hospital

MUZAFFARGARH, (Muzaffargarh.City – 26th Oct, 2017 ) :Deputy Commissioner Saif Anwar enquired about the health of victims of Basti Lashari incident in Nishtar Hospital and directed to provide best medical treatment to them.

As many as 17 family members of Basti Lashari mouza Walvat had taken lunch and consumed ‘Lassi’ on October 24 and their condition deteriorated.

From which eight people died while others are under-treatment at DG Khan and Nishtar hospitals.

The DC said doctors had collected the samples of all edible items from the home and cause of deaths will clear after report. The eight people who died in the incident included Amjad, Hafeezan Bibi, Rabia, Rasheed, Shahbaz, Nazeer Ahmad, Saifullah and Amjad. The DC also visited the Basti Lashari and said the government would provide financial assistance to the affected family.
