ANF Seized 40.5 Kg Drugs Worth Rs 81 Million

RAWALPINDI, (Muzaffargarh.City – 12th Oct, 2017 ) :Anti Narcotics Force ANF carried out 20 countrywide operations and recovered 40.5 Kg drugs Worth Rs. 81 Million in the international market, and arrested 23 drug offenders beside impounding 6 vehicles.

The Force arrested an accused identified as islam Gul resident of Mardan at Benazir Bhutto International Airport, Islamabad who was travelling to Saudi Arabia by Gulf Airways Flight No. GF-771 and recovered 780 Grams Amphetamine which was concealed in his trolley bag.

In another operation, ANF arrested a foreign bound passenger identified as Khalid Noor resident of Hangu at Benazir Bhutto International Airport, Islamabad travelling to Dubai by Shaheen Airways Flight No.

NL-221 and recovered 1.4 Kg Amphetamine which was tactfully concealed in his trolley bag. In another operation, ANF recovered 4 Kg Hashish from possession of 3 accused identified as Muhammad Ilahi Khan, Rozia Bibi & Hussan Taj all residents of Nowshera.

They were arrested at Karachi Hotel, near Pirwadhai Road here. In fourth operation, ANF intercepted a Toyota Corolla Car near CDA Stop, on IJP Road and during search, 2 Kg Hashish was recovered from secret cavity of the vehicle.

The accused identified as Sohail Atlas and Muhammad Saqib both residents of Rawalpindi, were arrested during the operation. ANF Lahore recovered 900 Grams Heroin from possession of an accused namely Muhammad Jamil resident of Gujranwala who was arrested near Bilal Travels, Lari Adda, Sialkot.

Moreover, ANF Lahore recovered 5 Kg Hashish from possession of 2x accused identified as Mst. Asia Bibi resident of Muzaffargarh and Muhammad Akram resident of Multan arrested near PSO petrol Pump, Yasir Filling Station, Multan-Aliabad Road, Multan.

In third operation, ANF Lahore recovered 1.2 Kg Hashish from possession of the accused identified as Masood Ul Hassan resident of Sialkot arrested near Airport Road, Sambrial, Sialkot. In fourth operation, ANF Lahore intercepted a Motorcycle near Niazi Bus Stand, Band Road, Lahore and recovered 3.6 Kg Hashish from possession of accused identified as Imran Ali Shah resident of Lahore.

In fifth operation, ANF Lahore intercepted a Motorcycle near Khan Medical Store, Clifton Hotel, Railway Station, Lahore and recovered 2.4 Kg Hashish from possession of the accused identified as Zulfiqar Ali resident of Lahore.

In sixth operation, ANF Lahore intercepted a Suzuki Mehran Car near Fuel & Fuel CNG Pump, Pindi Bhattian Motorway Toll Plaza, Hafizabad and recovered 4.8 Kg Hashish which was tactfully concealed in secret cavities of the car.

A person on board identified as Muhammad Ramzan resident of Toba Tek Singh was apprehended during the operation. In seventh operation, ANF Lahore intercepted a Toyota Corolla Car near Bata Stop, Depalpur Chowk, Okara and recovered 3.

6 Kg Hashish which was concealed in secret cavities of the car.

A person on board identified as Shameen Ijaz resident of Toba Tek Singh was apprehended during the operation. In eighth operation, ANF Lahore seized 300 Grams Cocaine by intercepting a Uruguay bound parcel being sent through a courier service company.

Cocaine was concealed in packing material of a shirt. In ninth operation, ANF Lahore arrested an accused Salman Khan resident of Peshawar from Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore while he was boarding for Dubai by Shaheen Airlines Flight No.

NL-796 and recovered 950 Grams Amphetamine which was concealed in his trolley bag. In tenth operation, ANF Lahore recovered 1.1 Kg Hashish from personal possession of an accused identified as Muhammad Asghar resident of Kasur near haier Factory, Raiwind Bypass, Lahore.

In 11th operation, ANF Lahore intercepted a Toyota Corolla Car from Shell Petrol Pump, Mughal Pura Underpass, Lahore and recovered 4.8 Kg Hashish which was concealed in secret cavities of the car.

A person on board namely Umer Hayat resident of Lahore was also apprehended during the operation. ANF Peshawar arrested an accused Matlab Khan resident of Kohistan from Peshawar International Airport on suspicion of having ingested narco-filled capsules, while admitted in a hospital in Peshawar for delivery of capsules.

55x Heroin filled capsules weighing 350 Grams were recovered. He was traveling to Saudi Arabia. Moreover, ANF Peshawar arrested an accused Muhammad Rome resident of Shangla from Peshawar International Airport on suspicion of having ingested narco-filled capsules, admitted in Hospital, Peshawar for delivery of capsules.

55x Heroin filled capsules weighing 350 Grams were recovered. He was travelling to Saudi Arabia by Flight No. EK-637. In third operation, ANF Peshawar arrested Maeen Khan resident of Kurram Agency from Peshawar International Airport on suspicion of ingested narco-filled capsules, admitted in Hospital for delivery of capsules.

50x narco filled capsules weighing 320 grams Heroin and 49x Amphetamine filled capsules weighing 290 Grams have been recovered. He was traveling to Doha by Qatar Airways Flight No. QR-601. ANF Karachi while acting upon a tip-off arrested a drug carrier Nazar Gul resident of Karachi along with 2 Kg Heroin which was found in his personal possession.

He was arrested near Anwar Baloch Hotel, Malir, Karachi. Moreover, ANF Karachi seized 470 Grams Heroin by intercepting a Behrain bound parcel being sent through a courier service company booked from a courier office, Mingora.
